La Caminade in Bourg de Bigorre is the ideal place to discover the most beautiful passes in the surrounding area and relax after a wonderful day of horseback riding.

From the most legendary, like the Col du Tourmalet, to the wildest, like the Col d'Aspin or Col d'Hourquette Ancizan, the choice is vast and the landscapes magnificent.

Our favorite? The Col d'Hourquette d'Ancizan, a little marvel!

This Easter weekend we had the honor and privilege of welcoming "Eros" accompanied by his owners who came to make a short stop at La Caminade 2/3 of the way through their 800km journey!!

Eros spent the night rolling around in the mud with pleasure, as his condition in the early morning testifies!!!

By the time he was brushed and ready for a new stage, he had us all laughing and yawning.

As you will have understood, if you are on the roads of the Baronnies de Hautes-Pyrénées in the company of a donkey or a horse, you can stop off at Bourg de Bigorre, you will be welcome!

1 hour from La Caminade, offering a panoramic view of the entire Pyrenees mountain range, it is, despite its price, a must-see in the region.

Beyond the incredible feeling of overlooking the mountains, it is a real little adventure that you will experience with the 2 cable car sections, the planetarium to visit and the famous footbridge over the void!

Come and recharge your batteries in the enchanting world of a lush forest. The interpretive trail offers several routes ranging from 1h30 to 3h of walking, along the Arros River.

Whatever the season, the Gourgue d'Asque, nicknamed the little Amazon of the Pyrenees, will delight you with its charm and biodiversity.
